So I thought that there was a virus attempting to muck up my registry and so tried to system restore to an earlier date, but couldn't find the rstrui.exe in my system32 folder and so therefore couldnt system restore from safe mode. I noticed that the registry values for mbam and spybot were listed as broken along with a couple of other programs (audacity etc). I then ran it in safe mode and found that my glary utilities was still fine and that had an anti-malware scanner and so ran it along with a registry "fixer". So I thought o crap it's a virus disabling all my anti-virus and turned the computer off. But spybot.exe was like the malwarebytes not found. My avira anti-virus then flashed up saying something was attempted to mess up the registry and so went to my spybot anti-malware to run a scan. I went through explorer and tried to run it manually with the same result. I therefore tried to run it through the start menu and it comes up with "cant find mbam.exe" or something along those lines. Hi, I turned my computer on yesterday and noticed that malwarebytes wasn't running in my quick pick tray. If you can’t uninstall the existing version, just download the latest version and install it over the existing installation.(Sorry if this is a bit long I want to try and get as much information across as possible) DAEMON Tools Lite 4.35.6 requires Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 x86 only. If you have an older operating system like Windows 2000, you can use it but only until version 4.35.6. It also supports Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2. For 圆4 Windows XP, you need to have Service Pack 2. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 x86 only, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 both x86 and 圆4. Restart your computer then download the latest version, DAEMON Tools Lite 4.49. Check “Temporary files” and “Setup log”, click OK then click Delete Files. To try a work around, uninstall DAEMON Tools Lite then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then Disk Cleanup. Also, make sure your computer meets all the requirements for DAEMON Tools Lite. If this is what’s happening on your computer after installing DAEMON Tools Lite then your installation must have damaged the registry of some applications. It also shouldn’t affect other applications on the computer because it is only associated with disc images like. The program is not started using the command prompt and is launched from the desktop. I’m using DAEMON Tools Pro and the command line error doesn’t suppose to happen.

I’m also using DAEMON Tools but I haven’t seen this error happening on my computer.
